Ageing Honestly
Ageing Honestly: Real Talk on Ageing for Women Over 60
Women over 60 often hear two messages: either fight ageing and try to look younger, or just smile, be grateful, and remain positive. Neither is true, and you’re probably tired of hearing both.
My name is Penelope Lane. I’m a clinical psychologist with 38 years of experience, as well as a fitness trainer and mindfulness teacher.
After going through my own personal challenges, I learned that we can approach ageing differently.
To face what’s real, feel our emotions, and rebuild from there.
I call this approach Whole Strength.
It’s based on four steps I use every day: Notice It, Open To It, Rebuild, and Live It Daily.
It’s okay to dislike getting older and still love the person you’re becoming. Both feelings are real, at the same time, and that's okay.
This podcast is for women who want honest conversations about ageing.
There’s no forced positivity or anti-ageing hype here.
Just honest talk about what’s true and what really helps.
Welcome to Ageing Honestly.
